Heat & Eat | Braised Greens & Goat's Cheese Pie

Exclusive to Harvest Bites, we've collaborated with some of Sydney's finest to bring you some delicious meals that are packed with flavour and purpose.

Here are simple heating instructions for our new Braised Greens and Goat's Cheese Pie by OzHarvest Executive Chef Travis Harvey 

Braised Greens & Goat's Cheese Pie

Seasonal greens and delicious Meredith's Dairy goats cheese between layers of buttery pastry, made with love by the OzHarvest chefs.



1. Preheat the oven to 170 degrees.

2. When the oven is warm, remove the lid, wrap the pie in foil and bake in the oven for 30-35 minutes. In the last 5 minutes, remove the foil and bake until the top is golden brown. Remove and let cool for 10 minutes then remove from the foil tray.

3. Serve warm or at room temp with a side salad. A generous squeeze of lemon is great too!

This dish uses Meredith Dairy goat chevre  from family farmers Sandy & Julie Cameron in Meredith, Victoria. They produce what we think is Australias best Chevre, and have invested in sustainable and ethical practices in the dairy. They have received numerous awards not only for the quality of their cheese but also for their practices including the Landcare farm of the year award.
